O akci

Márton Balassi is a PMC member at Apache Flink and a Solutions Architect at Cloudera. His main focus is real-time distributed data processing frameworks. Márton has been a speaker at Hadoop Summit, ApacheCon and numerous Big Data related meetups recently. In his talk, he will answer following questions: • What is Flink and what does it offer to you? • What are the most prominent use cases? • How do I program it? • Where is it heading? The talk gives an introduction to Flink, features a live demo showcasing the more prominent APIs with use cases ranging from ETL through Machine learning to stream processing, discusses distinguishing features and dives into up and coming features. As always, we start with "big data small talk" and refreshments at 5:30 and the talk itself takes place at 6pm. Looking forward to meeting you all before the summer break, Katka & Ataccama Team P.S.
